Laura Siegemund<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>

From watching and photographing Laura Siegemund<\/em> on so many occasions I am convinced, that she is nothing less than a cheater. No, she is a straight-forward sportswoman following her personal high standards as to the sport, as to fair play, as to being honest. People always assume the worst. A male photographer in his fifties\/sixties taking pictures of young female players CAN only have one motivation to do so, the worst, the cheapest one. A 35-year-old player trying to max out the rules in order to get as much recreation time in between the rallies as possible CAN only have one motivation, which is to cheat and bamboozle. What a bitter and brutal way for Laura to learn, that she obviously is not longer fit enough to compete with young players without becoming a nuisance. It was bitter for Venus Williams<\/em> to get that first round 16 16 loss from a much lower ranked player. But is it thinkable that she would’ve gotten any comparable reaction from the US-audience if she would have used the same tactics to get a breather in between the rallies as Laura did? No, that’s absolutely unthinkable. And that’s the point at which I 100% take the German’s side. This is applying double standards and nothing else. For some time now I have the feeling that US-audiences are illustrating the decline of the empire by their degeneration of morals. Coco Gauff<\/em> is not to blame. Her interviews as to the topic expectably show her as the nice and decent person that she is. But young folks are a bit unjust sometimes. Probably the American will make some experiences like that as well when growing older.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>
