Last year I had a nice little chat with the chief press officer of Bad Homburg. Being too late with my application then she nicely encouraged me to try again this year.
T’was quite a decision-making to refrain from that. Iga was announced yet didn’t come. I am a bit ill and weak right now. And I decided not to put in my private money into tennis photography any longer.
Maybe there comes a time when I’ll be able to join the courts again with a publisher on my side who takes care of accreditations and provides me with a reasonable expense account. Maybe, maybe not.
As of now I found some healthy distance. Roland Garros was the first grand slam for years without me subscribing to some of them livestream-monopolist-sharks.
It’s really fun to deal with my stock of photos. Every new editing process bears more adventure and learning experience.
Life could be worse.
