When Coco gave me an autograph back in Luxembourg ’19 I made her and her kin laugh by saying, that this piece of paper quite likely would become worth some decent amount of money in a couple of years.
Now she has won her first grand slam. On home soil. Congrats to that!!!
She is an honest person. Moral to the core. No ifs, no buts. And from watching the highlights I can say, that she undoubtedly played on a level to deserve the title win.
From watching the highlights I can say as well, that I saw Aryna playing her best tennis when it didn’t matter. At crucial phases of the match she suddenly became erroneous. One into the net here, one to the tramlines there… … …what, if… … … “Aryna, I’ll pay you a million dollars if…” As a matter of fact I don’t have much trust left for honesty and decency, in the world, in Belarus, in the USA. And especially in tennis there have been disclosed so many abuses as to fraud in the past.
Well, probably Aryna would have seen to it that the result would’ve been a bit more narrow. Not so obvious. Not 62 36 26. She is known as mentally vulnerable. And the US crowd by now is infamous for its brutal nationalistic fanatism which sells it’s own grandmother… … …
Well, well, well.
And once again:
Well, well, well… … …
P.S.: What would be the best way to divert suspicion from oneself for a player who just lost a US Open final according to a secret agreement? Just smashing a racket in the locker room and having a video of that action ‘leaked’ to the public. Ahem… … …
Hey folks, I don’t believe that I’m right with these suspicions. I even do hope that I’m not. The odds are 50:50.
